About Edmar victor
Graduate and teacher in history, I am a teacher for almost a decade in different settings. When I came to Mexico in 2015 to do my doctoral studies, the opportunity presented itself to expand my vocation to also teach Portuguese for foreigners. My classes try to value the recreational potential of the classes and use interesting aspects of Brazilian culture as tools. In this sense, I seek to incorporate a lot of music, literature and small historical accounts, always seeking to find, along with the students, their topics of interest. I also seek to teach certain structural features that greatly facilitate the learning of Portuguese by the Spanish speaker, mainly. Did you know that Spanish and Portuguese share about 80% of their vocabulary? Most of the changes are related to usage, particles within a word or phonetic adaptations.
