Saudações! Aqui é Eric Abreu!!!

I enjoy doing a bit of everything: singing, driving, listening to music, and spending time with my special friends. But what I can assure you is that I absolutely love helping you become fluent in Portuguese and preparing the best lessons for you! This is my main goal.

I’ve been helping people learn Portuguese since the pandemic began, and it’s been a pleasure to see so many students making progress, feeling proud of themselves, and improving their communication with their Brazilian friends or partners!

I’m sure we’ll be good friends too — Portuguese brings people together! I’m also a pianist and a piano teacher here on Superprof, which is my main occupation. I’ve been refining my method since 2020, and I’m constantly updating my PDFs to enhance the learning experience.

I’ve developed original materials, which are completely free for you during our lessons — exercises, texts, images, idioms/slang, general knowledge, and more. Let’s work on improving your conversation skills, grammar, or anything else you need and want!

About the class

Our lessons will be fun, relaxed, and productive. I’ll gradually introduce you to all the elements of spoken Portuguese and grammar through original PDF materials, which are sent free of charge after each lesson. We’ll explore texts featuring common situations and conversations, grammar points, listening exercises, and even some Brazilian and Portuguese songs — the greatest hits of all time!

Our primary focus will be on pronunciation, helping you to better understand what people are saying around you. This will also enhance your writing skills, but my main goal is to make you fluent in spoken Portuguese — the real-life Portuguese! The kind you’ll use to chat with your girlfriend’s or boyfriend’s family, or to make new friends in Brazil!

All this is delivered with the aid of a condenser microphone to help you clearly hear and understand Portuguese sounds and phonemes. The platform we’ll use is Zoom, chosen for its superior transmission quality compared to other options.

As a native speaker, I can also teach you about culture, music, habits, and traditions. Most importantly, you can choose an accent from Brazil to focus on, and I’ll help you master and understand it.

My method has been developed with love, energy, and enthusiasm to make our lessons a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment. Come and speak Portuguese fluently with me! I look forward to seeing you in our free trial lesson!
