About YUCHIEH

My name is Yu-Chieh (Emily) Lo, an MSc student at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Prior to coming to Ireland, I worked as a cram school tutor in Taiwan, teaching primary students from 1st to 4th grade. As the eldest of six siblings, I am naturally communicative, warm, and highly passionate about education and mentorship.

About the class

- Speak as much Chinese as possible and use gestures or photos to help understanding.
- Combine instructions with physical actions, which works well for beginners and kids.
- Practice real-life scenarios like ordering food or asking for directions.
- Use hand gestures to show the four tones, and explain mouth positions for tricky sounds
- Use tools like Quizlet, Pleco, or Kahoot! for interactive learning.
