About Ankit
I am a student of Computer Engineering at School of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru University. My merit rank in JNU was 1 and my AIR in JEE-Mains 2018 was 9132. I am passionate about Mathematics, Physics and English Literature. I have participated in various Olympiads and done reasonably well in some of them. I have won 3 gold medals in International Mathematics Olympiad at the school level and 2 gold medals in National Science Olympiad, both conducted by SOF. I have also received a certificate of distinguished performance in ASSET Test which evaluated skills in Mathematics, Sciences, and English Grammar. I have been a sports enthusiast all my life and played Basketball and Badminton at the district level. I have been an avid reader all my life and read hundreds of novels and books on various topics. It is my life's greatest ambition to get a Ph.D. in Physics and become a professor. I believe that education is the key to a better world and I can't wait to start contributing to it.

My teaching methodology is first principle thinking. I focus on the very basic concepts of Mathematics and Physics and then I help my students work their way up. Most of the students who are weak in Maths do not necessarily lack hard work or dedication but simply understanding of the first principles upon which the entire branch of mathematics is built. I believe in letting the student learn by himself and I believe that my job is to guide them to learn better, not to force-feed them with information and homework.
