About Amy
I taught three of my English friends (uni students) Chinese at beginner level when I was a master student last year. And I'm a language partner of another English uni student at the moment.
Two of my friends can speak some simple sentences and write some simple words now. And they have made friends with more Chinese students.
Another friend shows great interest in learning Chinese Mandarin and moving to China. And he just got a government scholarship to study Chinese in one of the best Chinese universities for 6 months in the coming academic year.
And I chat with my current language partner online a few times a week now. We selected a certain topic every time, talked about it deeply and shared relevant experiences. He has learnt more about the Chinese culture, Chinese society, Chinese people, and the popular new words / internet words.

I'm a PhD student in England, from the Southern China. I want to teach students and adults Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese at spare time. I have both English and Chinese teaching experience, as I was a part time English teacher in China, and I taught my English friends Chinese last year.
I can teach daily Chinese or business Chinese. No matter you are a biginner, or you have some knowledge of the language and want someone to help you improve or practise from time to time, I'm happy to help!
As a friendly, patient, dedicated and reliable teacher, I will tailor the lesson structure and learning methods for you, depending on your own situation and needs. I'm able to give face-to-face lessons in Manchester, Leeds, York, and places near this area. But for people in other areas in the UK, I can teach via Skype.
