Hello, my name is Joseph, and I am a Classics student at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Latin and Ancient Greek Literature. My goal is to make grammar, translation, and vocabulary feel logical and approachable rather than overwhelming. Every lesson is tailored to each student’s goals, learning style, and experience, creating a highly personalized experience.
I focus on clear grammatical explanations, effective vocabulary-building strategies, and guided reading practice so that students develop both confidence and independence. During reading practice, we will work through texts step by step, while discussing the grammar and reasoning behind each translation so that you develop the skills to read independently.
