About Matt
- What kind of experience do you have?
For the last 5 years, I have run my own online English language school teaching online and face to face. Before that I was a Director of Studies for 3.5 years which involved managing a team of teachers and the academic department of a large language school in Bristol with up to 900 students. I have also taught in schools as a teacher and teacher trainer in Bristol and Guinea, West Africa.

Yes. I have an enhanced DBS certificate.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
I am a member of the Tutors' Association.
- Tell me about some of your current students.
A lot of my current IELTS students are medical professionals who want to register for the GMC to practise medicine in the UK. I often focus on the writing and speaking parts of the academic exam to help students get the required 7.5 overall band score.

Hi. I'm a specialist IELTS tutor living in Bristol.
I'm a fully qualified, native English tutor of IELTS and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) to adults. I mostly teach online but I can also teach face to face in the Bristol area.

I have a BA (Hons) degree in Product Design, a Trinity Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (DipTESOL) and a Trinity Diploma in ELT Management (DELTM).

- Where do you teach?
I teach online using Skype or Zoom. I also teach face to face at student's homes or in a central meeting place such as a cafe.
I live in central Bristol, Avon. I am willing to travel within the Bristol area.
- When are you available?
I am usually available Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm (UK time). Please contact me to discuss lesson times and availability.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach adults at all levels.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I am an IELTS specialist so I prepare students for the IELTS exam.

I teach English online using Skype or Zoom. You need a computer, headset or microphone on your computer, broadband Internet and a Skype account (free).
