About Colton
I am a high school student / pianist / polyglot. I tutor mathematics and chemistry and I have a passion for teaching it to others. I am currently in my 5th and final year of high school and I tutor math going from grade 9 to Calculus and Vectors. For chemistry, I tutor grade 11 and 12 chemistry with a focus on stoichiometry, organic chemistry, thermochemistrty, equilibrium, and quantum chemistry at the high school level. I plan next year on studying chemical engineering with a combined degree in mathematics.

My teaching methods are simple. If you are having difficulties with a unit in math or science, I design a lesson plan and teach you the unit in a more precise way through a typical classroom approach where a teacher writes down the steps to solving certain problems and key notes etc....
In other cases, if you understand most of the unit you're being taught in class, and just have some difficulties on some homework questions, I go over your homework with you and breakdown the homework questions in to simpler parts and give you tips and strategies to be able to tackle those homework questions.
