About Phoebe
I began dancing when I was 2 years old, after seeing the Mary Kate and Ashley music video where they visit Lincoln Center and sing about being a prima ballerina. I pursued a professional ballet career through high school, joining Pennsylvania Ballet at 15 as one of the Cygnets in Wheeldon's Swan Lake. Since then, I have performed The Nutcracker countless times, Giselle, A Midsummer Night's Dream, La Fille Mal Gardee, Push Comes to Shove, Peter Pan, Carnival of the Animals, and many other classic and contemporary ballets. As a student, I attended summer intensives at ABT (NY), CPYB, Bolshoi, SFB, Boston Ballet, and others, receiving full or partial scholarships to all programs. I also competed in YAGP for several years, making New York finals as a soloist every eligible year and winning the Grand Prix in the Philadelphia Regional Semi-Finals.
Currently, I live in New York as an actor! I am so grateful for my ballet background, which fostered strong technique and a rich love and appreciation for all kinds of dance. I have continued to find a lot of success as a dancer, and I'd love to be able to share my knowledge and passion with others!

I have been a dancer for my entire life. It is so important to me that passion and artistry come first, with strong attention and regard for technique. I like to start by addressing any specific concerns or questions you may have or things you're looking to work on or improve, and then move into a brief warm up where we focus on strengthening a foundation for any of those specific needs. Then, we jump in! It's important to me that we work in a way that is most comfortable and beneficial to you - demonstrations, language, internal vs external feeling, or a mix of all everything. This is for you!
