About Emma
I'm a mother of three children, one of whom is autistic, and this personal experience has deepened my understanding of the diverse needs students can have. I have worked across both primary and secondary settings in educational and pastoral roles, and while I am a qualified primary teacher, my true passion lies in supporting students as they navigate and overcome the barriers they face. I am experienced in providing compassionate, effective pastoral support and have helped many students achieve positive outcomes—academically, socially, and emotionally. At the heart of my approach is the belief that every young person deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported without judgement. I strive to create a safe, calm, and encouraging space where students can grow in confidence and reach their potential.

I provide supportive, student-centred sessions with a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and confidence-building. Sessions are available from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the needs of the student. I offer individual sessions as well as joint parent–student meetings, creating a safe space for open communication between home and school support. Each session is tailored to the student, giving them the opportunity to express themselves, share any challenges they are facing, and explore strategies to help them move forward. My aim is to ensure every young person feels heard, valued, and supported.

My child was very shy and would never seem to open up. They came right out of their shell for her.
