About Yashika Arora
I am an RCI-certified Special Educator and an experienced Mathematics Educator at Unacademy, bringing over five years of professional teaching experience to Superprof. I hold a Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed.), a diploma in Special Education, M.A. in Psychology and am currently pursuing an M.Ed in special education to deeply understand the cognitive and emotional needs of diverse learners.
For the past four years, I have worked within mainstream inclusive school environments, specializing in inclusive pedagogy. My true passion lies in bridging the gap between core academics and specialized support. My classes focus on breaking down academic barriers through a personalized approach:
Multi-Sensory Learning: I use customized Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) and sensory-friendly visual aids to make abstract concepts—especially Mathematics—tangible and easy to understand.
Tailored Routines: For learners with Autism and ADHD, I incorporate clear visual schedules and broken-down steps to support focus and reduce executive functioning anxiety.
Confidence & Independence: Every session is designed around the student's unique pace, focusing on functional academics and positive reinforcement to build real-world confidence.
Whether learning virtually or in person, my classroom is a supportive, judgment-free space where complex concepts are simplified and every step of progress is celebrated.
