About Summer

As a native speaker who has lived abroad for over 15 years, I bring a unique perspective to tutoring. I deeply understand both worlds—the linguistic roots of Chinese and the cultural context of living abroad. Whether you are starting from scratch, trying to shake off textbook stiffness, or reconnecting with your heritage, my lessons are tailored to meet your unique pace and goals.

About the class

Communicative & Immersive Approach: Focus on real-world scenarios from Day 1 to build speaking and listening confidence quickly.

Contextual Grammar & Vocabulary: Words and grammar rules are introduced through meaningful sentences and realistic dialogues rather than isolated rote memorization.

Pinyin & Tone Mastery: Early emphasis on exact pronunciation, tones, and visual cues so you speak naturally and accurately without forming hard-to-break habits.

Customized Visual & Interactive Tools: Use of slide decks, authentic media (short videos, articles, audio clips), and digital notes provided after every lesson for efficient review.
