About Rachel
When I was studying in China, Chinese was always my best subject. When I studied in high school in Australia, Chinese was also one of the subjects with the best scores in my VCE exam. This is due to my cultural connection with China, as well as my understanding of the Chinese language and the way I continue to learn it. Therefore, I am confident to lead my students to understand, learn, and strengthen their proficiency in many aspects of Chinese, including literacy, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

I'm able to provide vivid Chinese lessons by integrating situational teaching, in order to stimulate students' enthusiasm to study Chinese. Furthermore, I will explain Chinese culture during the teaching process, providing a deeper understanding of Chinese knowledge and helping students to better apply Chinese to their daily life in the future. Lastly, for students who currently taking Chinese as one of their VCE subjects, I am able to help students strengthen and consolidate their Chinese study according to the Study Design, therefore achieving better results in VCE.
I‘m able to teach Chinese from primary school to high school. If students from other age groups are looking for a tutor to learn Chinese as a second language, I will also be competent.
