About Eamonn Austin
My work as an English teacher began 4 years ago. Working with migrants, I discovered my passion for teaching English Australia in 2014. Since that moment, I thought that I wanted to be a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I got the qualifications I needed and started the adventure both in Australia and abroad. I have had students from more than 15 different nationalities to pass their exams or reach their individual English targets. I have had students from all groups through different institutions such as kindergarten, primary schools, after school academies and high school.

Regarding to the methods I employ to teach, I think that there are no better or worse, I believe each individual needs different ways according to his, her necessities and goals. I usually like to know my students in the 1st class to check and test which is the most suitable methodology. For the little kids I always focus more on their pronunciation, using songs and games. For the primary schools kids, I also use games, but at this age one of the most important things is making them understand the grammar, so they will not forget how to use it. If the goal of my student is to achieve any certificate, the best way I found is combining old exams and using glossaries so they can keep records of the vocabulary they need.
