About Aruna
I am a practicing Shaivite monk with more than 20 years of experience with yoga. The Vedic science of Yoga is much more than working with the physical body. It is also a way of training the mind, understanding and working with our emotions, and ultimately expanding our consciousness.
I am a practicing Hindu and live the yogic way of life, with a deep commitment to helping others, especially future generations, discover, experience and celebrate their Dharma. I believe that the wisdom of the Vedic tradition has much to offer children as they grow into confident, capable and well-rounded individuals.
It is this commitment that brings me here: to share that wisdom with children in a way that is enjoyable, accessible and relevant to their lives.

Every parent wants their child to grow into a confident, well-rounded and capable individual who can handle both the good and difficult moments in life.
My classes use yogic grounding exercises as a foundation for inner stability, focus and calm, and draw on the broader wisdom of ancient Vedic science for holistic development.
Through shlokas and mantras, children develop the power of verbalisation and learn to express themselves with greater clarity and confidence. Puranic stories introduce them to inspiring Divine heroes and the qualities they can aspire to develop. Guided visualisation and Vedic ideas help children build a strong inner core and sense of self.
Age-appropriate activities such as games, colouring, puzzles and videos make the experience enjoyable while helping children naturally explore Vedic ways of thinking and living.
The aim is simple: helping each child discover, understand, experience and ultimately celebrate their Dharma through the Vedic way of life.
