About Jyoti
I am a passionate Chemistry tutor with 6 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have taught around 150 students, helping them understand topics like organic reactions, stoichiometry, and periodic trends with ease. My love for Chemistry began in school, and over the years, it turned into a strong passion for teaching. One of the most special moments in my journey was helping a student, who once feared Chemistry, score top marks in their board exam. I believe that every student can do well when taught with care, patience, and clear methods. I focus on building strong basics, solving problems step by step, and making Chemistry simple and interesting. My goal is to help students gain confidence, enjoy the subject, and succeed in their studies and future goals.

My teaching approach is built on Empathy, Problem-solving, Collaboration, and Understanding. I start by listening to each student’s goals and learning style, so lessons feel friendly and safe. When a concept like stoichiometry or periodic trends seems hard, we break the problem into small, clear steps and solve it together. During organic-reaction practice, I guide students to ask “why” at every stage; this turns memorising into true understanding. We work side-by-side on sample questions, lab-style demos, and quick quizzes, talking through mistakes openly and turning them into learning moments. I encourage students to explain ideas back to me and to their peers—teaching others is a powerful way to learn.
Beyond Chemistry, I can also support studies in Biology, Physics, and basic Maths, linking these subjects so students see the full picture of science. My goal is to build confidence, spark curiosity, and equip every learner with problem-solving skills they can use in class, exams, and real life.
