About Manon
One of my main motivations is to help students regain their confidence by adapting to their needs. I have practiced these skills for 4 years, helping students in math but also many other subjects. I know how distressing it can be to encounter difficulties in a subject and how reassuring it is to have someone there to help outside of class.
What is important to me is that students leave happy, reassured and having understood what they were struggling with when we first started the lesson.

What would a typical lesson look like?
(1) during the first few minutes of the lesson, the student will be asked to describe the concepts seen in class recently, what he or she may have been struggling with and what his or her expectations/desires are for the lesson I'll be giving
(2) a short presentation would be given on these concepts as well as some sample exercises with explanations
(3) the last half an hour would be dedicated to doing exercises together and solving problems to make sure everything was understood.
Each lesson is really adapted to the student's needs that day: theoretical concepts, help on specific homework, reviewing exercises seen in class that caused difficulties, etc...
A summary of the course could be sent after the lesson upon request, with exercises to do at home to practice.
