您好！Kia ora!
I am a native Mandarin speaker and a student at Victoria University of Wellington. I can also speak Cantonese, English, and Bahasa Melayu, which allows me to communicate comfortably with students from different language backgrounds.
My lessons can be tailored to the student's level and goals. We can focus on everyday conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, or listening. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some knowledge of Mandarin, I will adapt the lessons to suit you.
As I am starting my tutoring journey, I am looking forward to gaining valuable teaching experience while helping others learn Mandarin. I will put care and effort into every lesson and aim to make each session useful, relaxed, and enjoyable.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient, and personalized to each student. As a native Mandarin speaker who can also speak Cantonese, English, and Bahasa Melayu, I can explain Mandarin concepts clearly and help students feel comfortable using the language.
I focus on practical communication rather than only memorizing vocabulary and grammar. Depending on the student's goals, lessons can include pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and everyday conversations. I will adjust the difficulty and teaching style according to the student's level and learning pace.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, students who already have some Mandarin knowledge, and anyone who would like to improve their everyday Chinese communication skills. I am also happy to work with both children and adults.
