Actually, Learning Chinese is not as difficult as expected. First of all, although there are more than 80000 Chinese characters, only 2500 are commonly used. Secondly, the form of Chinese characters never change Take English for example, there are personal possessive and reflexive pronouns and there are singular and plural forms and nominative and accusative cases. The form of Chinese characters never change. Finally, Chinese characters originated from hieroglyphics. Most basic Chinese characters are very vivid, such as 'sun' and 'moon'. The ideographic characters which account for more than 90% of Chinese characters are developed from these basic characters, such as 'sun' and 'moon' constitute 'bright'. In addition, I am an amateur audio book dubbing actress, Standard Chinese pronunciation is the basis.
At last, I think everyone is a unique individual. In my class, say no to standard teaching plan. Teaching students according to their aptitude is my principle. I will individualize the teaching approach. For example, for a female student who adores Wang Yibo(an top idol in China). I created the 'Wang Yibo' theme teaching plan. For the student who loves travel, I created the 'China trips' theme teaching plan. For the student who loves 2-Ds I created the comic theme teaching plan.
