About Trinity
Hello everyone! I have been tutoring for about 4 years now. I have tutored people ranging from the age of 6 to the age of 30. I also was an assistant homeschool teacher that used the Abeka curriculum for 2 years. Both tutoring and teaching has given me a lot of experience especially with kids in elementary, middle school, and high school. One thing to learn about me is that I’m patient with students no matter their level of understanding. If they are confused on a concept, I will break it down into steps that the student can understand and remember and use in the future. I’m here to help anyone whether they are behind or ahead or simply just wants a review before an exam. Looking forward to helping students grow confident in themselves and their skills.

For lessons, I like to teach students using a written step by step process on how to solve each problem. I show as many examples as I need to make sure that the students understand the concept alongside the steps. Once I see that they are understanding the problems, I will give them problems of their own to try to work through. If they get stuck while trying to work the problem by themselves, I will give them helpful hints to get them through it. This practice usually works really well especially for test taking time. The student will feel prepared for any exams coming up. I also like to give reviews specifically for each student that focuses on the type of problems they struggled with or need a little help with. After each tutor session, I will send the unsolved review problems along with step by step solved solutions to check their answers. I’m here to help any student whether they are behind or advance in the subject, or simply in need of a review before an exam.
