I am a high-achieving recent graduate about to start Bachelor's of Business and Law at UTS. I have a strong academic background and experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. I am patient, organized and committed to helping young learners feel more confident in math by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. I teach maths with a calm, structured and student-centred approach. My lessons focus on building strong foundational skills, improving confidence and making each concept easy to understand through clear explanations and step-by-step guidance. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s needs, including students who benefit from additional learning support or a slower, more patient pace.
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes and begins with a short review of previous content, followed by guided practice, worked examples and personalised feedback. I use simple explanations, visual strategies and plenty of practice questions to help students feel more comfortable with problem-solving and apply what they have learned.
As a high-achieving high school graduate with experience tutoring students with diverse learning needs, I understand the importance of breaking down difficult ideas and creating an encouraging environment. My goal is to help students develop confidence, accuracy and better study habits over time.
