About Emma

In 2009 I completed a BA in Journalism and English Literature from University of Pretoria and a PGCE from Unisa, before spending 5 years' teaching in Dubai. During my 17 years' of teaching I have taught all the subjects from Grades 1 - 9, as well as all curriculums including the American, Cambridge, IEB and CAPS. I want to see my students succeed and tailor each lesson to their individual needs and experience.

My main focus is on effective teaching and learning. I want to find out how you learn best and tailor my lessons around your strengths and learning style. I make all my lessons interactive, engaging and fun, using real examples that apply to you so that you can form connections and really remember what you are learning.
