About Yiota
I’m a published author and writing tutor with a real passion for helping people express themselves through words. Over the past 20 years, I’ve taught writers of all ages and levels—guiding GCSE students through their first essays, supporting university students with coursework and dissertations, and working with adults who simply want to write with more confidence and creativity. I hold a PhD, and I’ve spent more than 10 years teaching as both a university lecturer and a secondary school tutor, so I understand the demands of academic writing at every stage. My own work has appeared in poetry collections, academic journals, and literary publications, and I’ve also edited academic journals, giving me an insider’s view of how strong writing is crafted, refined, and published. I love helping people discover their voice, develop their ideas, and bring clarity and confidence to their writing.
