About Polly
I attended New York University Tisch School of the Arts and graduated with a BFA in Dance in 2015, and in 2024 I graduated from New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study focusing on critical dance studies. I attended Los Angeles Ballet Academy and completed their exams, passing with distinction through the highest levels. I have performed with contemporary dance companies all over the world, and choreographed dozens of pieces for professional companies, college students, and K-12 dance studios. I am multi-talented and have extensive experience in ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, modern (especially Cunningham technique), and tap, training with some of the most prolific dancers of their fields, from Debbie Allen to former-principal dancers of the Bolshoi Ballet.

My teaching philosophy is driven by the incredible opportunity to instill the love of dance in each and every student I work with. As someone who struggled with perfectionism in dance as a younger student, it is imperative to me that the student develops tools to improve their technique and foster a constructive desire to improve that uses compassion to prevail through frustration. I am currently on faculty at Los Angeles Ballet Academy and work with a range of students, from young students just starting to dance all the way to dancers bound for professional ballet companies. I thoroughly love teaching and there is nothing better than being a part of the development into a lifelong dancer. Classes: -Styles: ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap -Ages: 5 years old and up, including adult classes

Polly is a patient, skilled, and fun dance teacher, and my kids love her. They have improved so much since working with her and are always excited for days that they have dance.
