About Alec
For the past 12 years, I have been dedicated to helping High School and College students master English as an ESL tutor. During this journey, I have successfully taught around 150 students while supporting them in improving confidence, fluency, and academic performance.
I believe learning English should be enjoyable and connected to real life. My lessons include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through practical exercises, role plays, and meaningful conversations that keep students actively involved.
My classroom is built on respect, encouragement, and continuous improvement. I provide personalized feedback, monitor progress regularly, and motivate students to practice consistently so they continue developing strong language skills.
Helping students become confident English communicators has been my most meaningful achievement. Besides ESL, I also teach Spoken English, English Grammar, Academic Writing, Vocabulary Development, Reading Skills, and Communication Skills. I strive to help every learner achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.

My teaching methodology is built around helping students become confident and independent English users. I believe that every learner has different abilities, learning styles, and goals, so I never use the same lesson plan for everyone. Instead, I create personalized lessons based on each student's current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. My teaching style is guided by flexibility, empathy, compassion, communication, and collaboration.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons to match each student's pace. Whether a learner needs help with grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, speaking, writing, reading, or listening, I prepare activities that make learning clear and enjoyable. I use practical examples, conversations, role-playing, short reading passages, and writing exercises to connect classroom learning with real-life situations.
Empathy and compassion help me understand the challenges students face while learning English. I encourage learners to ask questions freely and view mistakes as an important part of learning. Positive reinforcement and patient guidance help students stay motivated throughout their learning journey.
Communication is central to every lesson. I encourage students to express themselves confidently through discussions, storytelling, presentations, and everyday conversations. Collaboration helps us build realistic learning goals, review progress regularly, and celebrate improvements together.
Besides ESL, I also teach English Grammar, Spoken English, Business English, Academic English, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Vocabulary Development, English Literature, Communication Skills, and Public Speaking. My goal is to create an enjoyable learning experience that helps students communicate confidently in academic, professional, and everyday settings.
