About Charlene
I am a 3rd year pharmacy student at the faculty of Reims. Following a scientific baccalaureate earned in 2017 with a grade of 20.34 / 20, I enrolled in PACES (first common core year for health studies) that I validated in one year: despite being admitted in Medicine, I chose Pharmacy, being, among other reasons, more interested in the chemical and biological lessons covered in its program. Today, aside my studies, I am heading towards virology research, following an internship carried out within a team of the National Museum of Natural History. Molecular life sciences are for me a passion to share and to awaken in others.
I am also familiar with the political changes occurring in the French first year of health studies and it is possible for me to help the student with all of the preliminary teaching that these difficult studies require.

The methodology used during the lessons will largely depend on the particular needs of the student (s) and the nature of the points to be worked on. Based on the program to be covered, it will first of all be necessary to pose the basic concepts in the form of explanations and diagrams, followed by brief course questions such as MCQs: in this way the possible problems of memorization and understanding can be noted and worked in a personalized way. For example, in organic chemistry, the first chapter to master will be the nomenclature, before being able to move on to more applied notions. Comprehension exercises will follow, directly during the course or in the form of homework to be done between two sessions. These exercises will be adapted to the desired objective: baccalaureate type statements, problems, multiple choice questions in the case of a very knowledge-based chapter. Their level will vary from session to session depending on the difficulties encountered or the student's appetite / curiosity for this or that notion. It is also possible that I give lessons in English (especially written English) for a student having difficulties in this subject, and wishing to get trained for scientific English or to use it in a more fluent way.
