About Bridget
I am a pharmacy student keen to share my knowledge with others and help them understand mathematics, and also learn from them.
I have always loved maths as my favorite subject. It is a challenging subject, yet if basics are understood, it becomes very easy. When I was in high school, I got to realize that the subject has been building up from grade 10, which is something I got to realize practically. I got to quickly learn the basics and tackle challenging questions and, in my first year of university, I got to solve problems without the use of a calculate. I do my best to daily challenge myself and understand better this subject.

I am a third-year pharmacy student. I provide lessons to primary and
My teaching method has four steps:
1. The student is to understand the basics. I usually ask my students to read through the notes and write down important concepts they will need to remember. For example, in geometry, my students are to write down all the laws with the drawings, so they may paste them somewhere on the wall and go through them every morning until they can remember it as easy as a habit.
2. Go through examples. While going through examples, I use the teach-back method. I teach an example question and to see if the student understands, I ask them to teach it back to me.
3. Do exam/test question in 2 sessions. One session while they have the material and the other session in a test/exam-like setting. This helps prepare students, especially those in matric, to know how to cope when they are under pressure.
4. Advice them to prevent them from forgetting by them reading the summaries and doing questions after 2 days until they understand or after 5 times.
My characteristics as a tutor are humility, adaptability, energetic tutor who loves to motivate my students, to always see themselves as conquerors.
