About Aimen
Hi, I'm Aimen, a Software Engineer with a passion for Mathematics and teaching. Before beginning my career in software engineering, I spent over four years tutoring GCSE Mathematics to students from Classes 6–10 through one-to-one lessons. During that time, I discovered how rewarding it is to help students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.
I believe every student can excel in Mathematics with the right guidance and practice. My teaching style focuses on making complex topics easy to understand by breaking them down into simple, logical steps. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop strong problem-solving skills rather than simply memorising formulae.
As a Software Engineer, I use mathematics and logical thinking every day, which allows me to show students how the concepts they learn in school apply to real-world careers in technology and engineering. My lessons are patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's individual learning style and pace.

For over four years, I have been teaching Mathematics to students in Pakistan, primarily from Classes 6 to 10 following the GCSE curriculum. My tutoring has been conducted through one-to-one sessions, allowing me to tailor each lesson to the individual student's learning pace, strengths, and areas for improvement.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of mathematical concepts rather than memorising formulae. I explain topics step by step, using clear examples to ensure students understand the reasoning behind each method. Once a concept is covered, I guide students through a variety of practice questions, gradually increasing the difficulty to strengthen their problem-solving skills and build confidence.
I also help students prepare for school assessments and GCSE examinations by focusing on exam techniques, common question types, and effective time management. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are encouraged to think critically.
Alongside my tutoring experience, I work as a Software Engineer, which has further strengthened my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. I bring this logical, structured approach into my lessons, helping students develop not only their mathematical skills but also the confidence to tackle challenging problems independently.
