About Tanya
Tutoring has been as long term passion as I have been at it for over 5 years. I am University Graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics). My choice for studying this was because I loved Maths in high school. My teachers, tutors and mentors in high school made all the difference in my education and it is my goal to do that for others. I received top band in both Mathematics Extension II and Mathematics Extension I. In studying Mathematics at university I believe I have bettered my knowledge on the subject.
I am currently working in PwC and I love to use my spare time during evenings and weekends to help young minds stretch their minds and see the beauty of what Mathematics has to offer.

I have tutored both high school and primary school children. My approach to tutoring is VERY MUCH dependent on the learning style of the student. Therefore my methodology will change from student to student. It could be reteaching a topic learned in class by going over the theory and example questions.
Another approach to tutoring would involve bringing worksheets for requested areas in the subject and then helping the student work through the sheets.
I would also be happy to help them with their homework from school and if their schedule permits I would provide homework or worksheets for them to do in their own time as I believe in a subject like Mathematics it is essential to attempt as many questions as possible.
I also have many textbooks I myself used in years of schooling, and I would like to make use of these by helping other students to practice and master key topics.
