About Hakeem
I am a dancer of over 10 years and has been performing in countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong. My extensive years of dance experience includes choreographing, performing, competing and teaching. I am trained in different genres of dance such as Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggae, Street Jazz, Jazz Funk, K-Pop, Twerking and Waacking. My aim in dance is not to teach but to share my experience for people who are interested in dance. Being passionate about my craft allows me to provide an open and energetic class environment for my students to thrive.

Being a graduate from University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Psychology, I understand the learning behavior and the needs of learners. When you come for my dance sessions, we will have a short discussion to discuss your objectives. Based on your objectives, we will come out with realistic goals for you to achieve over the course of the sessions. Questions are always welcome as I believe that is how we learn. However, the most important for me in my sessions is to have absolute fun!

To best accommodate all my clients, cancellation policy will be 24 hours prior to the start of the dance class. However, I understand sometimes life throws you a curve ball and you need to reschedule. You can contact me 3 hours before the start of the class to reschedule the session.
