About Öykü
After receiving my education at the best schools in Turkey, such as Kabataş High School and ITU, I completed my doctorate in Europe, at one of the world's top 100 universities.
My language of education has been English since my undergraduate studies. During the 4 years I lived abroad (2020-2024), I always spoke English. During my doctorate, I published articles, made presentations, and wrote a thesis.
I got 100/120 points in the TOEFL exam I took without studying (2017).
In summary, I can say that my English is at a "bilingual" level, both theoretically and practically :)
I intend to use these times, which I declared as a "gap year" after my doctorate, as a freelancer. I am waiting for my students :)

It is essential for me that my students enjoy learning English. I try to have a conversational atmosphere in my lessons and encourage my students to learn English as much as possible.
I spend the first lesson getting to know my student, listening to my student's expectations from me, their future goals and their motivation to learn English. This lesson is free.
Then, I process the content that I have determined according to my student's needs in the following lessons with great pleasure and conversation. Preparing for exams such as TOEFL and IELTS by solving questions together, practicing speaking, and giving text writing assignments are among the methods I use.
For a good learning, it is important that my student is truly dedicated to learning English and continues his lessons with determination and seriousness.
