I studied in Dunman High School from 2016 to 2021 under the IP track and very familiar with the syllabus. Having been through the system, I understand the difficulties that students face and can provide personal experiences as advice to pick up the concepts easier.
2 years of 1-1 home and online tutor experience. Taught four students:

Teaching style:
1. I provide topical summary notes after every lesson and I usually teach ahead of school curriculum
2. I provide targeted practice questions that focuses on a certain concept rather than a wide range of questions where students don't know which concept to apply.
3. I can provide timely feedback to parents regarding student's progress through consultation after lessons and a shared google sheet and drive
4. I am able to assist students with homework queries ASAP through messaging.
5. I have the most updated notes and practice questions as I have siblings currently in the IP track

Details of experience: I am an NTU undergraduate (Bachelor of EEE), also an experienced home tutor with 3 years of experience for A level H1 and H2 Mathematics. With an A grade in H2 Mathematics from the recent graduating batch in 2021, I am able to provide both academic assistance as well as study method guidance from my own experience.
For levels JC1 to JC2, I've guided students in the H1 and H2 levels to mathematical mastery through my targeted and focused learning methods. I strongly believe that each and everyone has a different style of learning and the assistance they need is different. This is why I cater different lesson plans as well as customized study notes for different students that will help to target their weaknesses.
Having a wide pool of students from various JCs, I have access to the most updated curriculum and notes from the top JCs which I will provide to my students as supplementary materials alongside extra practice questions for students to grind it out
Lesson structure wise, we will start by clarifying any questions from previous sessions and touching on the content to be covered for the day. We will then move on to attempt questions together and discuss our input to better apply what is learnt for the next hour. I also provide summary notes to sum up the lessons and for easy reference when you study. I also have a habit of tracking results and giving constant tests to show the progress of my lessons.
