About Mariska

I'm a triple major! I'm a business, aviation, and medical biophysics student. In addition to math and the sciences, if you'd like any tutoring in those as well, I'd be glad to help!

Part-time, I worked as a children's instructor for every recreational activity you can think of! While I'm in university, I've also been a volunteer tutor for middle school to high school students, as well as a peer tutor in my university.

About the class

I give all my students an initial diagnostic test in the subject of their choosing, as well as a feedback form on how I can best tailor to their learning needs. I keep track of grade improvements, weaknesses and strengths, as well as give extra take home resources if needed. The most important part of learning is timing and practice! I will always slow down or speed up if the student needs.

For high school students, I have experience in the IB Curriculum and can teach Math AA, Chem, Bio, and Psychology. I can also teach physics and computer science up to the 12th grade level.
