About Isabel
My interest in mathematics began with observing patterns, relationships, and logical structures in everyday life. This passion led me to earn a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, which provided a strong foundation in both theory and analytical practice. Over 10 years, I have guided learners across levels, helping them strengthen conceptual understanding, reasoning skills, and confidence in problem-solving.
I use a student-focused teaching approach that combines visual explanations, stepwise problem-solving, interactive exercises, and practical examples. I encourage learners to ask questions, explore multiple approaches, and develop independent analytical thinking. My teaching emphasizes clarity, engagement, and curiosity, fostering both mastery and intellectual growth.
Outside the classroom, I engage in applied mathematics projects, research initiatives, and analytical problem-solving exercises. Witnessing students grow from uncertainty to confidence, achieving both clarity and competence, is immensely rewarding.
