My interest in Mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, problem-solving, and logical thinking. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics, where I explored algebra, geometry, number theory, and advanced problem-solving. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students at all levels, from foundational elementary school math and middle school math to algebra, geometry, and SAT math preparation. My teaching philosophy emphasizes patience, clarity, and personalized instruction that nurtures confidence and understanding. I focus on adapting lessons to each student’s pace and style, using diagrams, practical examples, and structured step-by-step explanation. Beginners receive thorough guidance, intermediates develop independent problem-solving skills, and advanced learners tackle challenging exercises. I encourage curiosity, celebrate progress, and provide reassurance, creating a supportive environment where students thrive. Outside the classroom, I study new teaching techniques, explore real-world math applications, and create practice challenges for my students. Watching learners progress from hesitation to confidence, and apply math in meaningful ways, is deeply rewarding.
