About Gillian
My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for numbers, logical reasoning, and problem solving. I completed a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, where I developed advanced analytical and conceptual understanding. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students from different educational backgrounds, helping them improve their confidence and mathematical abilities. Teaching allows me to simplify difficult concepts and make learning more approachable and effective.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and flexible. I understand that every student has a different learning style, so I adapt my teaching methods according to their needs and pace. I focus on building strong fundamentals, encouraging regular practice, and making lessons interactive and engaging. I also create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning without fear of mistakes. This helps them stay motivated and focused throughout their studies.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring advanced mathematical methods and new problem-solving techniques to improve my teaching strategies. This helps me keep my lessons updated and effective. Teaching mathematics is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to confidence. Helping them strengthen their skills, improve academic performance, and develop a positive attitude toward learning is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term educational growth and personal development.

My maths lessons are designed to make learning organized, clear, and easy to understand for every student. Advanced students work on logical reasoning, advanced calculations, and exam preparation strategies. Mathematics also helps students strengthen analytical thinking and decision-making skills that are valuable in academics and daily life. As students begin solving problems independently and understanding patterns clearly, they gain confidence and motivation.
