About Tiffany
I have a bachelor degree in math, but also spent some time in teacher's college! After student teaching, I realized how poorly public school works for so many students due to large class sizes and minimal time with teachers available to each student. Because of this, I have decided to work one on one with students to help them learn math in the way that works best for them!
I have been tutoring professionally since 2019, and have worked with students from grades 1-12 on maths, English, sciences, history, photography, media, and more. I believe that a strong understanding of time management, organization, and confidence are integral to succeeding in any subject.
I enjoy getting to know my students and personalizing their tutoring. I want tutoring to be a safe place to bring up concerns and to set goals. My job is to support my students and make sure that they are achieving what they are capable of!
I also have a criminal record check that I am able to provide if requested.

Every student learns in a different way and I am passionate about making sure that students are approaching math from the right angle for them.
Does a student understand math through patterns? Through application to real world scenarios? Through seeing the material in a visual way? The answer to these questions makes a huge difference!
I have education in child psychology which helps me approach students who might be struggling in a variety of ways to really get down to the root of the issue. Everybody can understand math, we all just understand it differently!
I also have experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities including dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Details
First session will include an introduction, assessment of goals and struggles, and setting a plan for how best to work with the student.
10% off for 5 lesson packs, 20% off for 10 lesson packs
I price my time lower than average for my education and experience because I believe whole-heartedly that every student should have access to quality education, including private tutoring. This being said, I understand that this price may still be out of budget for many. If the price is still out of budget, please message me and we can discuss options that may work for both of us! Nothing should ever get in the way of a student being able to learn to the best of their ability!
