About Quynh Mai (Vivian)
I love math, and I truly hope that I can instill my passion for my students too. My biggest method is to be able to simplify the concept so that they can 'digest' it more easily. Unlike what many people think, I believe math is something you can get better through practice and that you do not have to be a natural at it.

I can help students with their homework and preparing for their school exams. I believe that doing the work everyday can help them in the long term. I need the students to send me the school materials they are on ahead of time so that I can personalize my lessons better. I have graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Mathematics degree, so I am qualified in teaching math for HSC level students and younger. I can typically take lessons from 1-2 hours depending on the students' needs. Since I am taking students near the Springvale and Keysborough area, I can even meet up with the students at the Springvale library for an in person lesson if they prefer, considering math is hard for some to understand via video chat sometimes.
