About Heidi
My journey in Mathematics began with a strong interest in numbers and logical patterns that help solve problems step by step. I completed my Bachelor’s in Mathematics, which helped me build a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and techniques. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence through clear explanations and structured teaching methods.
I believe that every student can succeed in Mathematics with the right guidance and support. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step problem solving, clear explanations, and regular practice that helps students improve steadily. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring different methods. This helps them build confidence, improve understanding, and become more independent in their learning process.
Outside of teaching, I continue to engage with Mathematics by solving problems and learning new methods. This helps me keep my lessons effective and interesting. Teaching Maths is very fulfilling because I see students grow from uncertainty to confidence, and I enjoy helping them become strong and capable problem solvers.

Mathematics becomes much clearer when students understand the reasoning behind each step instead of depending only on memorised formulas. I guide students step by step so they can understand how solutions are formed and why each step is important. By using clear explanations and relatable examples, I help students build a strong foundation that supports long-term learning and reduces confusion.
Lessons are carefully designed to match each student’s level and pace so that learning feels comfortable and effective. Beginners focus on basic concepts using simple explanations and visual understanding. Intermediate learners work on applying methods to different types of problems and improving accuracy. Advanced students focus on solving complex problems, improving speed, and preparing for exams. Every session includes practice exercises, guided solutions, and feedback to ensure steady and consistent progress.
Mathematics also helps students develop logical thinking and analytical skills that are useful in many areas of life. As they begin to recognise patterns and relationships, they gain confidence in solving problems independently. This growth supports both academic success and everyday problem-solving ability. My goal is to make Maths simple, engaging, and meaningful, helping students build confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
