About Lucy
Since September 2020, I have tutored multiple students in the Year 7-11 age range on a weekly basis, which I have gained a lot of experience doing. I am currently going into my second year of my Mathematics degree, averaging a high first. I have a huge passion for maths and love sharing it and helping people have better understanding of the subject.

I use a process of initially explaining concepts to students, then progressing to working though questions together and clearly presenting the methods in a understandable way. Once the student begins to feel more confident with topics I like to give them practice questions, in maths especially, I believe the best way to learn the subject is to do a wide variety of questions.

Although my rates seem high, I, and the parents of the pupils I study believe they are justified. I began tutoring in September 2020, and since I have flourished as a uniquely committed teacher. I curate creative lesson plans to not only improve the child’s understanding but also with the intent of engaging them and helping them find passion in the subject.
