About Ffion
I am a Masters graduate in Classics (MPhil) with a BA in French Language and Literature and Classics, graduating with honours. I lived in Bordeaux, studying at the Université Bordeaux Montaigne. I also have extensive training in research, dissertation composition and fluency coaching. I have been tutoring for two years. I have a 120 hours TEFL qualification.

I tailor my teaching method to each individual student. My extensive experience of language learning in several contexts (classroom, intensive and immersive) lends itself to a bespoke learning experience in all subjects. I was trained by world experts through my undergraduate and Masters degree in Classics in research skills and have written two research dissertations (12,000 words and 20,000 words). My classes are nuanced and designed for each student and their individual needs, working to target their weaknesses by using their strengths.

I have been doing classes with Ffion for a few months. Coming from a level of 0 french, I have felt that Ffion has been the key to the progress I have made. She listened to my experience with learning other languages, and devised a programme which suited my experience, level, ability, and my schedule.
Her classes were really enjoyable, and we were able to speak about the things I was interested in. It really helped build my confidence and vocabulary. On top of that, she is a really warm and helpful teacher, and I really cannot recommend her enough as a teacher. 10/10 would recommend!!!
