She is an exceptional teacher who possesses a deep knowledge of both the Chinese language and culture. Zhishang uses a variety of techniques and materials in her classes. In addition, she is patient, encouraging, and always willing to go the extra mile to help me specifically.

She is an outstanding tutor. Given her background in translation and having studied a masters in the U.K. she knows exactly how to teach non-native speakers. I am incredibly grateful to have been her student and within a few sessions my depth of understanding of Mandarin improved greatly. She is patient, kind and thorough.
