About Nanxi

Hi! I’m a native Chinese speaker who also happens to be an artist. I’ve been in the U.S. for many years and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. I’m pretty relaxed and easy to talk to, and I like to keep things natural and fun while helping you build confidence in Chinese.

About the class

My teaching style is casual, flexible, and student-centered. I believe language learning should feel intuitive and expressive, not stressful. We can explore Chinese through topics you enjoy—art, food, travel, or daily life—while building strong speaking and listening skills step by step.

Perfect! Nanxi was able to work around what I already knew. She taught me in a manner I was able to understand and went above and beyond what she needed to by providing me a study guide of what we talked about. It was an amazing and fun experience. I look forward to more excellent lessons.
