About Maria
I graduated in Bologna in Italian and linguistic sciences, specializing in Contemporary Italian Literature.
Later I followed a master's degree in Publishing in Rome and I worked for a long time as an editor, revising and correcting books, so I have a particular familiarity with Italian language and the techniques of writing and building a text.
At the same time I volunteered with after-school children, helping them with their homework and supporting some university students in writing their thesis.
I have a very good knowledge of English thanks to various trips abroad and to work as a summer escort on study holidays.
In my personal path there are also courses in theater, dance, music and a lot of volunteering with associations and realities that deal with migration and education.

Having to deal with the language, whether it is our "living" Italian, the "dead" Latin or the "foreign" English, means having to deal with logical structures. Teaching is therefore building a map that helps anyone find their way around these structures!
I start from the belief that the best possible learning is the cooperative one, in which the teacher and the student are on the same level and build in a shared way knowledge and knowledge. First we will focus on the objectives to be achieved, after which we will take the time to deepen and critically discuss the topics addressed, setting the exercises in a personalized way.
Each path is different because each student is different, and as a teacher I try to always listening to the needs of those in front of me: the goal is to combine precision, sensitivity and creativity, so as not to make the lesson hours a cold experience but as much as possible dialogue and shared.
my lessons are aimed at primary, lower secondary and upper secondary school students of any level.
I also have years of experience in supporting thesis writing in the humanities, in which I helped university students to build the scaffolding of the I wrote harmoniously and helped them with their bibliographic research.
