About Johann
I'm 46 years old, white, and male. Those are the basics, so you'll know what to expect when meeting with me.
I obtained my Honors degree in Applied Psychology through the University of South Africa, albeit with several and long delays in-between, caused by crippling addiction to alcohol and several other hard drugs (crack cocaine, marijuana, lsd, to name but the primary ones), and have for a long time struggled with depression, anxiety, and uncontrolled anger.
Through the 12-Step Recovery programs of AA and NA, along with my psychology training and long years of personal study into self- and emotion-control development, I've since found the calm and peaceful serenity that has allowed me to put down the drugs and alcohol for a total of more than 18 years, and I've become able to deal with just about any emotionally charged life challenge in a calm, practical, and efficient manner.
I believe in simplicity, practicality, and efficiency, and so this is the approach you can expect from me.

I believe trust, safety, and comfort is essential to move forward in the process of recovering from addiction, dealing with anger, or simply reach a state of calm relaxation.
So, we'll meet online as you may meet with a trusted friend. We'll converse in a casual, friendly manner, in English, as I help to guide you through a step-by-step process of addiction recovery, managing anger flare-ups, and achieve a state calm serenity that will allow you to deal with life's emotional hurdles in a mature, efficient manner.
Addiction, Rage, and Anxiety doesn't discriminate, so I will likewise work with anyone, as long as you're older than 18.
I'll make it a point to understand the specifics of your challenging circumstances, and then we'll move to practical and simple, tried and tested techniques to meet and conquer those challenges.
