Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the online Mathematics teaching opportunity with Superprof. I hold a doctoral degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ilorin. With 12 years of experience teaching mathematics, I have encountered students of varying abilities over the years, and my dynamic approach to teaching has set me apart in successfully handling each one of them.
My teaching approach, which involves identifying foundational knowledge gaps before deploying the appropriate teaching method, has proven highly effective. It has helped even students with poor mathematics backgrounds to quickly respond to my method of teaching. I have witnessed students rise from Grade F to Grade A within a short period. I have previously tutored pupils in primary and high school, as well as those preparing for certificate examinations such as WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, SAT, and GRE.
Approaching each class with a different strategy, but with the same ultimate goal of reproducing my mathematics skills in my students, has truly been of great help. Approaching each topic using real-world concepts to prepare the minds of my students, following up with real-world guided examples before giving students the opportunity to attempt real-world questions independently, has helped shape even the minds of the weakest learners. As a result, the desire to solve challenging questions is always rising in the minds of many of them.
The success I have recorded in class became the motivation for establishing my own tutorial hub, where I have taught students mathematics and sciences. I believe I have what it takes to help every student I encounter, and I look forward to the opportunity to help students visiting this website achieve the best grades in Mathematics.
