About Jazzmyn
Hi, I’m Jazzmyn! I just finished my first year as a high school Algebra teacher, but I’m no longer teaching full-time so I can focus on my Master of Public Health studies. That’s why I’m excited to be tutoring again: helping students build strong math and science skills while gaining confidence. With over four years of tutoring and teaching experience, I’ve worked with students from diverse backgrounds to make challenging subjects more approachable and understandable. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs and learning style, combining patience and clear explanations with real-world examples. My tutoring rate is $40 per hour, with no extra fees during lessons to keep things simple and transparent. For in-person sessions, I charge a small $5 travel fee to help cover transportation costs. This way, we can get to know each other, discuss your goals, and see how I can best support your learning before you commit to regular sessions.
