Hi! My name is Jieyaa, and I am an IB (International Baccalaureate) student with a strong passion for mathematics and helping others learn. I offer math tutoring for elementary and middle school students who want to improve their understanding, build confidence, and achieve better results in class.
My teaching approach is centered around patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each student's learning style. I believe that every student can succeed in math when concepts are explained clearly and at the right pace. Rather than simply providing answers, I guide students through the problem-solving process so they can develop independent thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the material.
A typical lesson begins with a review of previous concepts and any questions the student may have. We then work through new topics using step-by-step explanations, examples, and interactive practice problems. Throughout the lesson, I check for understanding and adjust my explanations as needed. I also provide strategies for tackling challenging questions and improving accuracy on homework, quizzes, and tests.
