Hello, I’m Imperial College London medical student. I achieved 10 ‘9’s at GCSE, 3A*s at A-Level and have been tutoring since 2021. I have a passion for the sciences that I believe fosters a desire for knowledge and helps my students see the relevance of what they’re learning; there’s nothing worse than rote learning abstract concepts without ever seeing them in practice!

My tutoring is built on tried and tested learning methodology such as interleaving, spaced repetition and active recall; I believe in re-examining how we learn so we don’t just work hard, but smart too! As part of this, I’m a strong advocate for supporting my students outside of scheduled lessons, guiding them in designing their own timetables and optimising the way they revise what we cover in lessons. Having studied these subjects myself, I’m acutely aware of the need for exam technique and the importance of communicating ideas in an exam with utmost clarity.

Tinu was my A Level Maths tutor for the duration of my time in Sixth Form. I can not fault his teaching. Every misconception was cleared and every concept was explained so coherently. I do not naturally grasp mathematical concepts as fast as my peers, yet Tinu maitained a patient attitude with me and always boosted my morale. He has a very in-depth understanding of Maths, and ensured I was comfortable with all the material by giving me regular Mock Exams. My success in Maths would not have been possible without Tinu.
Thank you for your help!Tinu was my tutor throughout the duration of my A Level Maths course, and I can not stress enough how fantastic he has been in explaining concepts and clarifying misconceptions. He takes his time and patiently explains things you don’t understand, in contrast to some tutors who make you feel silly for not knowing the answers, which knocks your confidence down so much! Tinu always boosted my morale and was so helpful outside of lessons aswell; he replied to my emails if I ever got stuck on homework and prepared me for my exams by assessing me with a set of mocks.
