About Ruijie
I am a Secondary Mandarin teacher with (QTS),and hold MSc TESOL degree from University of Aberdeen. I’m an online teacher of HSK1-6,GCSE, A-level and Business Mandarin. I love teaching different students and help them to know more and more Chinese.
In my experience, I believe that Mandarin is not just a language but also an important art, which includes a rich history and culture. As teacher, I like to teach students not just focus on exam curriculum but also how knowledge of Mandarin language and culture can be used within their lives.
In my experience, I enjoy bringing diversity of culture to my class. Student not only study but also enjoy a variety of activities in class. For example, I like teach student about traditional dances and ways they can improve their body language to express their emotions when speaking. Where possible, I also introduce them to traditional Chinese food and recipes that they can attempt at home, bringing what we learn in the classroom into their real life.

I am looking forward to bringing the diversity of culture to the British School. I believe that language is communication, it represents the culture and tradition of their country. As Mandarin teacher, I enjoy bringing the food culture to my class and let students enjoy and expand their horizon. I am motivated person because I do not enjoy being stereotype teacher. As teacher I should bring more fun to the students that can assist students’ motivation to learn and enjoy the school, not only regard school as paradise lost. sports, exercise, game, reading, cooking are my hobbies that can help me reduce my pressure and enrich my life. In the school, I am friendly with colleagues and active help them with tasks and students to overcome the difficult. However, outside school that I am also good organised and motivated person, hang out with colleagues and friends and talk some in- depth topic and solve mental health problems, to understand everyone.
